India cricket team have decided to include 6 bowlers in their playing XI for the IND vs NZ 1st ODI in Baroda on Sunday. Shubman Gill won the toss and opted to bowl first in the contest. This game will mark the return of Shreyas Iyer and Mohammed Siraj to the 50-over setup and also the first ODI for the Men in Blue in 2026.

He recently received a fitness clearance from the BCCI’s CoE, paving the way for his return to international cricket.
Mohammed Siraj, who was last seen in action in ODIs in the series against Australia, returns to the side and will spearhead the pace unit which comprises of Krishna and Harshit Rana. Jadeja, Sundar and Kuldeep are the three spinners while India have decided not to include Nitish Kumar Reddy in the playing XI.
