Shreyas Iyer has resumed batting. The Indian ODI vice-captain hadn’t started cricket training after injuring himself in Sydney on October 25. Shreyas hit the nets for nearly an hour without any discomfort in Mumbai. Now, he’ll travel to the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru. The 31-year-old will eye the India vs New Zealand ODI series for his comeback.

Shubham Gill resumes training
Shubman Gill has resumed training. After injuring his toe during the India vs South Africa T20I series, the Test and ODI captain hit the nets to prepare for the VHT. Gill has been practicing at the PCA Stadium in Mohali and is expected to play 2 matches for Punjab.

Ashwin answers VHT issues
Ravichandran Ashwin has explained why the BCCI isn’t televising VHT matches involving Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The former Indian spinner explained that the BCCI finalises a couple of venues where matches will be televised when the domestic calendar gets finalised. Changing the plans isn’t easy, which is why not all matches are available for viewers at home.
