After an abandoned fourth T20I in Lucknow, India and South Africa are set to clash in the fifth and final T20 international at the world’s largest stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Leading the series 2-1, India cannot lose the rubber now. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side won in Cuttack and Dharamsala and now would love to end the series on a high. As for South Africa, they would want to at least level the bilateral and confirm their threat with the T20 World Cup 2026 coming up in less than 50 days.

Narendra Modi Stadium pitch report
Not an out-and-out 230+ surface but a great batting venue. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) matches, however, saw high-scoring games. The Narendra Modi Stadium offers true bounce and a red-soil pitch always helps the batters. However, the pacers would find enough seam with the new ball. Team winning the toss would opt to bowl first.
Ahmedabad weather report
Fans would hope that bad weather continues to stay away after what we saw in Lucknow. Smog, pollution and awful air meant no cricket in Lucknow. Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is situated in far west and we can expect a full match. There are no rain concerns either.
