David Miller was their first purchase for INR 2 Cr, followed by England keeper Ben Duckett, at the same price. The team made their third purchase, Auqib Nabi for 8.4 Cr, and made him the third-most expensive uncapped player ever.
Post that, the team also got Sri Lanka Pathum Nissanka for 4 Cr. It was like a late surge for Delhi, who also made some crucial buys in Lungi Ngidi, Prithvi Shaw and Kyle Jamieson as well.
