India have decided to go with the same playing XI as in the 1st ODI for the IND vs SA 2nd ODI in Raipur

India cricket team have decided to stick with an unchanged line-up for the IND vs SA 2nd ODI at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Interational Stadium in Raipur. This means Rishabh Pant, Tilak Varma, Dhruv Jurel and Nitish Kumar Reddy will continue to warm the bench. India will be aiming to seal the series with a win in the 2nd ODI, having already taken a 1-0 lead in the series with a 17-run win in Ranchi. You can follow the IND vs SA 2nd ODI here.

India playing XI for IND vs SA 2nd ODI:

We haven’t won the toss for a long time. We did really well in the last game. They pushed us and we know what to expect. Before the series, we spoke about it, we expect dew every place we play. Put runs on the board, pick wickets early. Wicket looks good. We are playing with the same team,” captain KL Rahul said after India lost yet another toss.

An unchanged XI means Yashasvi and Gaikwad will get yet another chance to prove their worth. The opener, who managed to score just 18 runs in his 2nd ODI, has been given another opportunity. Meanwhile, Gaikwad – who replaced Shubman Gill in the XI – has also been given another chance despite scoring just 8 runs in ranchi.

India have stuck with the combination of 3 pacers and spinners in the form of Kuldeep-Jadeja-Sundar and Rana-Arshdeep-Krishna.
