The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have decided to release 8 players, including one trade, before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 auction. The 2016 champions also traded premier fast bowler Mohammed Shami to the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for an all-cash deal.

SRH purse left for IPL 2026 auction
Since the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had announced earlier that an additional INR 5 crore will be added to the auction purse for all franchises, SRH will enter the IPL 2026 auction with an INR 25.50 crore purse.
