Abhishek has fared decently in Australia in the ongoing IND vs AUS T20I series, with his best outing coming in the 2nd T20I in Melbourne. On four occasions, the explosive opener managed to get good starts but failed to convert it to big knocks as his ultra-aggressive approach led to early dismissals. His 68-run knock in the IND vs AUS 2nd T20I is his standout in this series so far. At the time of publishing this copy, Sharma is on 23 off 13 deliveries, having struck one six and four each so far.
India captain Suryakumar Yadav lost the toss yet again and was asked to bat first by Mitchell Marsh. Shubman Gill and Sharma provided the perfect start for India before play was paused just before the end of powerplay due to rain.
