India cricket team squads for the IND vs AUS ODI and T20I series have been announced. Shubman Gill will replace Rohit Sharma as the captain in the 50-over format while the latter will continue to be a part of the side. Rishabh Pant has been left out of the ODI squad as he is yet to recover from his fractured toe. In T20Is, Washington Sundar is the only addition made to the squad that was named for the Asia Cup while Hardik Pandya misses out due to a left quadriceps injury.

No Bumrah for ODIs
Jasprit Bumrah has been left out of the squad for the IND vs AUS ODIs but he has been named for the T20I series. India’s pace department will comprise of Harshit Rana, Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna with Nitish Kumar Reddy as a back-up option.
India have gone with three spinners in the squad in the form of Kuldeep, Axar and Washington. Ravindra Jadeja has been dropped. KL Rahul will serve as the first-choice wicketkeeper while Jurel has been named as backup. Yashasvi Jaiswal has also been named in the squad as back-up opener.
