'When IND-PAK situations were worse..': Salman Ali Agha opens up on no-handshake controversy

After boycotting the press conference for the last two week, PAK skipper Salman Ali Agha finally opened up on the handshake controversy.

No handshakes is something that has pinched the Pakistani team to a great extent. A lot has been said on this matter by their ex-cricketers, a lot has been shown by the current crop on the field, through gestures. And now, on the eve of the India-Pakistan final, PAK skipper Salman Ali Agha has expressed his opinion on the same.

Pakistan Skipper Says, Not Good for Cricket

This is for the first time that he has come out in the open and spoken about the entire episode. And he was pretty clear.. that he had not seen or heard anything like this before in his life. “When you talk about the handshake.. I have been playing cricket since 2007, I have never seen that that two teams don’t shake hands. All I’ve heard is, such an incident has never occurred.

“Previously too, India and Pakistan matches have taken place, when situations were worse than this one, and then also handshakes used to happen. This is not good for cricket,” Salman Ali Agha said at the pre-final conference. Apart from that there are also rumours, that there will be no ‘captain’s photoshoot’ ahead of the final.

“We Can’t Do Anything”

To this PAK skipper had a simple response.. “Let them do whatever, we will follow our protocol. It is up to them. We can’t do anything about that.” Meanwhile there is still no clarity on the captain’s photoshoot anyways. Coming to the cricket aspect, IND-PAK have played two matches so far, in which India have won both, convincingly.
