Smriti Mandhana’s heroics and contributions from Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma failed to get IND-W across the line as the middle and lower order collapsed. Earlier in the innings, Mandhana created history by smashing the fastest century for India in WODIs. However India’s momentum took a hit when Mandhana and Kaur were sent packing back-to-back. Sharma’s late fightback wasn’t enough as Australia doubled down on India to secure a comprehensive win.
