The India vs Pakistan match can be a taxing affair, and the emotions tend to run high. To contain any untoward incident from happening, the Dubai Police has come up with a plan for tightened security, and also measures to penalise the offenders. As per a report in Gulf News, Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations at Dubai Police and Chairman of the ESC, stated the same.

He warned the disruptors of the strictest action. For starters, entering the pitch without authorisation, or carrying of banned items like crackers, could lead to one to three months of imprisonment. To add to that, fines could go up from Dh5,000 to Dh30,000. Further, acts of violence — like throwing of objects, racial slurs or abuses will have fines between Dh10,000 and Dh30,000.
The list of prohibited items has also been released. That includes flammable substances, lasers, umbrellas, large cameras, selfie sticks, sharp objects, toxic substances, flags, banners, pets, remote-controlled devices, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, and glass items.
Heavy Fines in Place
Meanwhile, this is the first time that India and Pakistan will take on each other, after the unrest between the two nations a few months back. In India, there have been calls to boycott this match as well, But now that the match is going forward, the foremost thing for the Suryakumar Yadav-led team, would be to select the best XI for the day.
In the last encounter, pacer Arshdeep Singh was left out of the XI, while another all-rounder Shivam Dube was preferred. The match is slated to start at 8.00 PM IST.
