The Asia Cup 2025 is all set to kick off on September 9. The tournament will mark India’s return to action after the India vs England Test series. The Asia Cup serves as a perfect practice for India’s T20 World Cup aims next year, with Suryakumar Yadav leading the side. And while there will be enough star-studded action on the ground, Sony Sports have enrolled a similarly high action commentary panel for the tournament.
Irfan Pathan, Virender Sehwag headline Hindi commentary panel for Asia Cup 2025
Asia Cup 2025 broadcaster Sony Sports on Saturday revealed a star studded panel for Hindi commentary. Former India stars Virender Sehwag and Irfan Pathan headline a packed line up which also includes long time broadcasters Ajay Jadeja and Vivek Razdan. Former India batting coach Abhishek Nayar also features, adding a lot more freshness to the panel. From the India vs England series, Ashish Nehra and RP Singh are misses.
The likes of Navjot Singh Sidhu, Anil Kumble, Sanjay Manjrekar and Varun Aaron all dabbled with Hindi commentary for the India vs England series. However, their involvement has not been announced. Notably, the panel does not include any former Pakistan players or broadcasters.
The Asia Cup 2025 will kick off on September 9, with the final set to be played on September 28. All matches will be broadcast live on the Sony Sports Network. The Asia Cup 2025 live streaming will be available on Sony LIV.
