Yograj Singh questions Dhoni’s behaviour
In an interview with InsideSport, Yograj Singh has levied the accusation against MS Dhoni that he treats people ‘like shit‘. The comment came after an old video of Irfan Pathan went viral, in which the all-rounder accused Dhoni of picking players who smoke hookah with him.
Squad of IND vs WI delayed
Since the BCCI are finalising the last two posts of the Selection Committee, the squad for the India vs West Indies Test series will come out in the last week of September. BCCI was expected to announce the squad in the second or third week, but InsideSport has learnt that it’s been pushed back to the last week.
Gill to practice for Tests during Asia Cup
Several members of Team India have reached the UAE for the Asia Cup. But fascinatingly, they won’t just practice with the white ball. Since the IND vs WI Test series will commence just 4 days later, Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, and Kuldeep Yadav will practice with the red ball during the Asia Cup.

Gaikwad outshines Jaiswal & Shreyas Iyer
The first day of the Duleep Trophy semifinals went extremely well for Ruturaj Gaikwad and N Jagadeesan. Playing for Central Zone, Gaikwad scored 184, while Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer failed. South Zone’s Jagadeesan remained unbeaten on 148.
Dhoni to continue playing for CSK
MS Dhoni will play at least until IPL 2026. The development comes after N Srinivasan has taken over as the chairman of CSK. It’s believed that Srinivasan has convinced Dhoni to continue for at least one more season. The wicketkeeper batter shared a fatherly relationship with the CSK head and will accept his request.
GST’s costly toll on IPL 2026
As per the Finance Ministry’s reforms, the GST on IPL tickets has been increased from 28% to 40%. All other cricket matches won’t be charged more than 18%. This move from the Indian government could decrease ticketing revenue starting from the IPL 2026 season.
