Oval Invincibles clinched The Hundred title for the third consecutive year as they beat Trent Rockets by 26 runs in the final on Sunday. The win marked the third consecutive time that Sam Billings and co. have lifted the trophy, a unique feat for a team in modern day T20 cricket. The Hundred 2025 perhaps might be the last season that the Invincibles are known by their name as they are reportedly set to be rebranded as MI London once the deal with the Ambani family is finalized.

Oval Invincibles in The Hundred 2025
The Invincibles were a force to be reckoned with in the recently-concluded season. Comprising of some world class players like Adam Zampa, Sam Billings, Sam Curran, Will Jacks among others, the team finished at the top of the points table after the group stage. They managed to win 6 out of 8 games, finishing with 24 points to their name and boasting of a net run-rate of +1.786.
By the virtue of a top-placed finish in the group stage, the Invincibles made it to the final directly. Batting first in the final, Jacks’ 41-ball 72-run knock and a handy 40-run cameo from Jordan Cox allowed the team to set a healthy target of 169 runs for the Trent Rockets.
In response, the Rockets fell short by 26 runs despite a valiant effort from Marcus Stoinis with the bat. Nathan Sowter was awarded the Player of the Match for his outstanding spell of 3/25 from 20 balls.
