Duleep Trophy 2025: Live Streaming, Schedule, Squads and All You Need to Know

Catch all the information you need to know about the Duleep Trophy that starts the new domestic season in India.

The Duleep Trophy has long been one of Indian cricket’s most important red-ball competitions, a stage where domestic talent gets a chance to rub shoulders with India internationals. It officially starts the new domestic season in the country. The 62nd edition of the tournament begins on 28 August 2025 in Bengaluru, less than a month before India’s home Test season kicks off against the West Indies.

This time, the Duleep Trophy reverts to its zonal format with six teams—North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone, Central Zone, and Northeast Zone. West Zone (19 titles) remains the most successful side in history, while South Zone last lifted the trophy in 2023 under this format. The tournament begins with two quarter-finals, followed by the semi-finals, before a five-day final decides the champion. All matches start at 9:30 AM IST.
