14 wickets fell on what was an enthralling Day 4 of IND vs ENG 3rd Test at Lord’s on Sunday. India managed to drag themselves back into the competition with some brilliant bowling, thanks to Washington Sundar and Jasprit Bumrah. However, England put themselves back in the driver’s seat towards the end of the day by reducing the visitors down to 4 wickets. Karun Nair’s run over?
when Karun Nair made it to the Indian Test team after a gap of nine years, he would have wanted to make it count. The 33-year-old started the England tour in great fashion, when he scored a double ton for India A vs England Lions, but come the Test series, it has been a real struggle. Washington Sundar bowled on day 4 of the Test, without a great deal of assistance from the wicket.. his spell of 3/19 in 9 overs, just tilted the scales further in India’s favour. In the third innings of the IND vs ENG Test, where it seemed like, the pacers would once again rule the roost, a not-100% fit Akash Deep meant, India had to largely contend with a bowler less, and Washi got a decent enough spell to bowl. India and England are both at the risk of being docked points for slow over rare in the ongoing IND vs ENG 3rd Test. Mohammed Siraj drew first blood on Day 4 of IND vs ENG 3rd Test at Lord’s as he got rid of England opener Ben Duckett early in the 1st session. Following the dismissal, the animated Indian pacer was seen celebrating in the face of the batter, and may have unintenionally barged his shoulder as well. Rahane, who last played for India during the 2023 West Indies tour, was dropped from the squad soon after and has since toiled in domestic cricket.
