MS Dhoni injured?

The CSK captain was caught limping after helping his side beat the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. A couple of weeks ago, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming had stated that Dhoni can’t bat for long. Now one can understand why Dhoni was batting as low as number nine and sending Ravichandran Ashwin to bat ahead of him.

PBKS has created history. At their home ground, the Shreyas Iyer-led side somehow defended the lowest-ever IPL total against KKR. After putting on a horror show with the bat and scoring just 111 runs, PBKS were on track to lose heavily. But an extraordinary turnaround started by Yuzvendra Chahal saw them win by 15 runs.

Dhoni’s advice to Chepauk curator

After claiming just their second win of the IPL 2025 season, MS Dhoni hopes that their pitches help their batters more. CSK batters haven’t done well so far, and according to the wicketkeeper, it can do a world of good for the batters if the pitches at home are conducive for them. Dhoni feels the Chepauk pitch has been a little slower than what they want.
