The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is planning a change of venue for the IPL 2025 final. As per reports from Cricbuzz, the decision is being considered due to the heavy rain conditions in Kolkata, which could pose challenges for hosting the high-stakes match.
The Narendra Modi Stadium is the world’s largest stadium, with a seating capacity exceeding 132,000, and has a track record of hosting prestigious events. Previously, it hosted the IPL finals in both 2022 and 2023, as well as the grand finale of the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
