The BCCI is also looking to organize a customary opening ceremony as well, a prospect that could be hampered as well.
As for the actual match, the prediction for rain increases constantly. At the time of writing, there’s a minimum 50% chance of precipitation from 8 PM to 9 PM IST. It goes to a whopping 70% after that.
