No team is complete without some of the important names who are possibly the backbone of the camp, the support staff. These individuals put in equal effort, just like the players, to ensure the team’s success. When both come together, they create a successful team, and that’s exactly what the Indian cricket team is all about.
Ahead of the Champions Trophy final, the BCCI recently released a video on social media showcasing the key figures working tirelessly behind the scenes for the team’s success.
In the video, India’s assistant coach Abhishek Nayar was seen making notes, while strength and conditioning coach Soham Desai guided players on the importance of recovery after matches and training sessions. The video also featured team doctor Aditya Daftary, seen having a discussion with Shreyas Iyer. Also, Indian team therapists, who ensures players receive quality massages and proper recovery, was also shown in the video.
