That’s the difference. You evaluate with stats, we evaluate with impact. As journalists and experts, you see numbers and averages. But as a coach and as a team, we don’t see numbers and averages,” the India head coach said.
Rohit Sharma captaincy record
Since Rohit Sharma assumed full-time captaincy in February 2022, India has achieved remarkable success, breaking numerous records. In just three years, he has led the team to the finals of every ICC tournament, including the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, ICC World Test Championship 2023, and now the ICC Champions Trophy. Along the way, he also secured the T20 World Cup 2024 title, adding to his legacy as a leader.
