Rohit Sharma seems to be a man on a mission, with the obvious target being the ICC Champions Trophy. Ahead of the marquee event, the Hitman fired a decisive throw that helped his team beat the rest of the Indian squad in a drill during their practice session on Monday. Rohit & co arrived in Dubai on Saturday and wasted no time since in hitting the nets and practicing hard ahead of the marquee event.
Rohit leads from the front in Champions Trophy drill
As per RevSportz, a direct hit competition was organised on Monday, with the Indian team split into three groups. Shubman Gill, Axar Patel, Varun Chakravarthy and Washington Sundar were team 1. Kuldeep Yadav, Harshit Rana and Virat Kohli were team 2. Meanwhile, Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh and Ravindra Jadeja were a part of team 3. Team Rohit won the competition with the decisive throw coming from none other than the captain himself.
