The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to begin on March 22. Here’s a look at the complete playoff schedule.

It’s official! the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 will begin on March 22 with blockbuster opening game between Defending Champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

After the league stage concludes, the Playoffs will take place in Hyderabad and Kolkata. Hyderabad will host Qualifier 1 on May 20, 2025, followed by the Eliminator on May 21, 2025. The tournament will then move to Kolkata, where Qualifier 2 will be held on May 23, 2025. The highly anticipated final of the TATA IPL 2025 is scheduled for May 25, 2025.

Teams who had qualified in IPL 2024

Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru had qualified in the IPL 2024 playoffs. While, KKR won the previous year’s title in the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer. With two teams with most titles Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings failed to advance to the IPL 2024, they will try to better their performance in IPL 2025.
