A fully packed Barabati stadium in Cuttack greeted India cricket team players as they walked out for practice on Saturday. The city in Odisha will witness the return of ODI cricket for the first time in 6 years on Sunday as India take on England in the 2nd ODI. Such craze for a practice session has hardly been seen before and the players too were amazed and in awe of the atmosphere.
Cuttack goes crazy for practice day ahead of IND vs ENG 2nd ODI
In a video released by the BCCI, one can see the entire stadium filled with fans, cheering for India as the team practiced. Such was the craze that keeper-batter KL Rahul revealed that he had thought he’d lost track of days and believed that it was the match day and not a day before. He said that it was good for the team to train amid such an atmosphere, something they haven’t done before.
