When it came time to decide whether to attend their own wedding reception or watch the cricket match, it became an easy choice for the couple. They decided to ditch their own wedding reception and enjoy Pakistan’s game against the West Indies. That’s the scene that came in Multan, the bride, dressed in a silver gown, skipped the reception and came to watch the game or say to watch her favourite player, Babar Azam game, during the Pakistan vs West Indies 2nd Test. When she was asked about the incident, she said, “I told my husband that I wanted to get an autograph from Babar Azam.”
The couple received affection from fans present at the Multan stadium, certainly grabbing attention. The newlywed was seen cheering for Pakistan’s batter and former captain Babar Azam, carrying small banners with “Stay strong Babar” written on them, as the star batter has recently been struggling with the bat.
After watching 20 wickets fall on the first day, the second day of the final Test between Pakistan and the West Indies saw many things once again. Noman Ali gave it his all, and so do Sajid Khan as they thumped the batters as the turning tracks continued to give good results for the team. However, slowly and gradually, the West Indies managed to score 244 runs in their second innings, setting a target of 294 runs. Pakistan, currently struggling at 76/4, saw Babar Azam fail again, getting out at 31 runs. It will be highly interesting to see how things comes for Pakistan, will they be able to win the match and clean sweep the series, or will a twist comes?
