India is hoping for another ICC title in 2025, as ICC Champions Trophy is just a month away from starting. Ahead of the tournament, India’s chief selector Ajit Agarkar, and Captain Rohit Sharma are all set to announce the squad for the Champions Trophy. In between this all, India’s former cricketer turned broadcaster Akash Chopra takes a subtle dig at the tournament in Pakistan, believing that the teams that will play in Pakistan will be an advantage.

During the broadcasting ahead of the squad announcement, Akash Chopra gives his take on Pakistan’s pitches. He believes that it will be easy for the teams travelling to Pakistan will have an advantage over the teams who are going to play in Dubai. “Pakistan bahot achche road banate hai, national highway ki baat nhi kar rha. Jo bhi team Pakistan me khelegi, advantage unka rahega.” said Akash during the pre-match show at Star Sports.

India to play all matches in Dubai
The tournament will be hosted by Pakistan and the UAE, with India’s games taking place in the UAE under a hybrid model. This eight-team tournament will have 15 matches, each 50 overs long, split between Pakistan and Dubai. The much-anticipated match between historic rivals India and Pakistan is set for February 23 in Dubai. India will kick off its campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 and play its final league match against New Zealand on March 2.
