Finally, New Zealand’s star batter Kane Williamson goes sold in the Pakistan Super League Draft. After going unsold in the first round of the PSL Draft in Lahore, Karachi Kings acquired the Kiwi star in the supplementary round 2. This is a reunion for former Sunsrisers Hyderabad (SRH) players Kane Williamson & David Warner, who played in the Indian Premier League (IPL). This year both of the players went unsold in the IPL auction, resulting in registering for PSL as both of the leagues will happen simultaneously.
Kane went unsold in round 1
In the platinum draft where Kane Williamson was registered, all of his Kiwi teammates got a team and buyer. Mark Chapman, Adam Milne, Michel Bracewell, and Finn Allen & Daryll Mitchell got teams, but Kane went unsold. He was probably the only Kiwi player who didn’t find any team in round 1. So, now finally good news for Kane to play franchise cricket.
