Premier League giants Liverpool FC are currently on the backfoot. The Merseyside Reds are on the verge of losing out on ace forward Mohamed Salah in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Egyptian is set to be a free agent soon. And the forward as recently informed the media that he is far away from signing a new contract with the Reds.
While Salah continues to keep his matters private, he hasn’t delved much details about the same. He informed the media however, that currently he and club are far away from agreeing on a deal to extend his stay in Anfield.
Mo Salah looking for Liverpool exit?
“No, we are far away from that [contract] and I don’t want to put anything in the media. The only thing on my mind is I want Liverpool to win the league and I want to be part of that,” Salah told SkySports.
“I will do my best for the team to win the trophy. There is a few other teams catching up with us and we need to stay focused and humble and go again,” Salah concluded.

Currently Liverpool stands at the top of the Premier League table. The Egyptian himself in enjoying a very good form and has noched up 17 goals in the league. He is currently focused on his game and desperate to win the trophy for his side. He claims that his sole focus now revolves around lifting the trophy. But it remains to be seen if he will extend his stay in Liverpool or not!
From 1st January he can easily get in contact with non-premier league clubs to begin pre-contract negotiations. If that happens then Liverpool run a huge risk of losing their best player for a free in the summer.
