Travis Head, who doesn’t need any introduction, has transformed into such a dangerous player that he can dethrone any bowler, no matter their reputation. Head has consistently done this over the years, whether in international cricket or in T20 leagues worldwide. Speaking about the IPL, this left-hander had a wonderful 2024 season, playing for SRH, where he hammered everyone. However, many may not be aware that his name first appeared with Delhi Capitals back in 2015. Back then, DC signed him for INR 30 lakhs, but he didn’t feature in the season. In 2016, RCB picked him up for INR 50 lakhs. Overall, Head appeared in three matches for RCB and scored 53 runs at a strike rate of 135. He was with the team for a few more years but wasn’t part of the IPL from 2018 until 2023. However, Head made a comeback in 2024, as Sunrisers Hyderabad snapped him up for INR 6.80 crore, and he scored tons of runs. Now, with IPL 2025 approaching, he is once again set to play for SRH.
