2022 ICC T20 World Cup: Tickets go on sale as India vs Pakistan match is already sold out
The 2022 ICC T20 World Cup, which will be the eighth instalment of the competition, will be played in Australia from 16th October to 13th November. The hosts happen to be the reigning champions after beating neighbours New Zealand in the 2021 edition, while with two titles, West Indies are the most successful team of the tournament.
Children’s tickets for the group stage and Super 12 stage starts at $5, while Adult tickets begin from $20. Fans will be able to purchase tickets of their preferred match by visiting the T20 World Cup website.

In a statement released by the ICC, the Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Local Organising Committee CEO Michelle Enright said “We’ve worked really hard to make families and communities a priority in ensuring the T20 World Cup is accessibly priced, so a family of two adults and two kids will be able to see World Cup cricket in all our host cities from just $50.”

Australia’s captain Aaron Finch also expressed his excitement of playing a T20 World Cup in front of the home fans by saying “The ICC T20 Men’s World Cup is going to be a great spectacle and a huge honour for us to defend the trophy in front of our home fans. There are so many great sides with the very best players in the world coming to Australia. It’s an amazing opportunity for Australian fans to see the world’s best.”
2022 ICC T20 World Cup: India vs Pakistan already sold out
While tickets are still available for almost every match, including the final on 13th November, India vs Pakistan game’s tickets were sold out in minutes. The mega clash will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 23rd October at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

ICC’s tickets page for the India-Pakistan clash displays the following message: “Public ticket allocation for this match has been exhausted. Tickets may still be available through the Official Hospitality and ICC Travel and Tours Programmes. Alternatively, you can join the Waitlist for this match and receive email updates with details of any ticket releases for a specific match.”
