Vasiliy Lomachenko, on the other hand, has a 17-2 record. However, out of these 17 wins, 11 have come by knockout. Therefore, the Ukrainian has a 57% knockout record. Thus, when you only consider the numbers, Lomachenko is a better knockout artist than Devin Haney.
However, numbers never tell the full story, and both Haney and Lomachenko are not your typical knockout fighters. However, Haney’s last six fights have all been decision victories, while Lomachenko has two knockouts in his last six.
Moreover, when you consider the nature of the knockout, out of Haney’s 15 knockout wins, only two have been straight KOs. All the others have been TKOs. Lomachenko, on the other hand, has five straight KOs. And when you look at the Ukrainian’s wins over Anthony Crolla and Jorge Linares, it is clear that Lomachenko packs a punch.
