Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens headlined the 2023 Royal Rumble alongside Sami Zayn in Reigns’ corner. The Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns mocked his opponent and looked at Zayn humiliating the Prizefighter.

The former Universal Champion tried to fight back and he did put Reigns at risk of losing titles. Owens took the high risk to do some spectacular maneuvers to knock Reigns. Unfortunately, Sami Zayn aided the Tribal Chief once again in handing out the steel chair. Despite several attempts, Owens still stood strong until Reigns landed the final spear to win the match.

Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens head-to-head record
Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens have fought twice for the Universal Title since 2017. In the very first title match at Royal Rumble 2017, the Prizefighter defeated the Big Dog after Braun Strowman assaulted Reigns with a power slam. This allowed KO to mark his victory on Reigns in the first encounter.
At the 2021 Royal Rumble, both men fought once again after a long-term rivalry and turn of events in a Last Man Standing match. The match featured Reigns and Owens fighting fiercely for the Universal Title once again but Reigns marked his victory after he fainted the Prizefighter in a submission hold.
