PVL 2023 LIVE: Having sealed semifinal spot in the Prime Volleyball League, Kolkata Thunderbolts and Ahmedabad Defenders will face each other in the final league match of the season. Both the teams are at the top two spots in the points table. The winner of the upcoming contest will the table-toppers of the season. The match will be played on 2nd March 2023. Ahmedbad Defenders are currently at the top spot on the points table. The team led by Muthu have been in top-notch form. They have won five out of the six games so far.
What is even more impressive is that all their five wins have come in successive matches. They are now aiming to seal their sixth successive win and hopes to carry the momentum into the semifinals.
Defending champions Kolkata Thunderbolts too have won five out of the six games that they have played. The team led by Ashwal Rai began the season with three successive wins. Their only loss came against Calicut Heroes. However after the loss they have bounced back and enter the contest after winning their last two matches.
The upcoming contest will be the repeat of last edition’s final. Kolkata Thunderbolts defeated the Defenders and were crowned as the champions. The two teams yet again are the best teams in the league this year and the upcoming contest is expected to be a cracker of a contest.
