The videos of the couple’s visit have been flooding the internet. In one of the videos, the cricketer is surrounded by fans asking for autographs. Kohli while signing a cricket ball politely asked fans to not shoot videos inside the ashram. The former India cricketer can be heard requesting a fan ‘ Bhai Ashram Hai Ye’.
The couple during their visit to Uttarakhand paid a visit to Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram to offer their prayers. Apart from offering prayers Kohli and Anushka also organised a bhandara for the saints during their visit to the ashram. As per the reports, the couple has reached the spiritual city of sages to seek blessings and positive energy from Maa Ganga for India’s good performance in the upcoming Australia series.

This is the second time in two months that Virat Kohli has visited any spiritual place before the cricket series. Last Month, Kohli visited Vrindavan with Anushka and her daughter Vamika to seek blessings ahead of the ODI series against Sri Lanka. After returning from Vrindavan, Kohli displayed an amazing performance in the ODI series against Sri Lanka.

The IND vs AUS Test series will be important for India as they look to punch their tickets for the WTC finals for second year running. India had lost the inaugural edition to New Zealand when the match was played at Lord’s. India are currently second in the WTC points table behind Australia. If Rohit Sharma-led team managed to win the series then they will not only reach WTC final but also become the No 1 team in the longest format of the game.
In the 2023 season, Kohli has so far featured in the ODI series against SriLanka and NewZealand. The four-match Test series against Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy gets underway from February 9 in Nagpur. The last two Tests are scheduled to be held across the first two weeks of March.
