Floyd Mayweather vs John Gotti results in a big brawl
Floyd Mayweather Jr. faced John Gotti in an 8-round match in the main event. The bout started with Mayweather throwing big punches at Gotti cornering him. This continued in the following rounds and Floyd Mayweather started mocking him. The fight continued with both men trash-talking each other and apparently, Mayweather had played his cards to get inside John Gotti’s head.
During the 5th round, Mayweather landed a punch on Gotti’s back of the head which the referee completely ignored. The same happened once again in the 6th round when Mayweather landed another hit on the back of the head. However, this time, John Gotti went furious due to constant trash talk and taunting from his opponent. Eventually, he went furious at Mayweather landing dirty punches while the referee called off the match.
This resulted in Gotti’s trainer separating him from Mayweather while the rest of Team Mayweather went on to attack John Gotti. Soon, a brawl began between the two teams inside the boxing ring. Almost the majority of the crew were inside the ring fighting Gotti’s trainer and other teammates. The brawl continued for some time until everyone was withdrawn from the boxing ring.
Eventually, Mayweather vs Gotti is a no-contest after referee Kenny Bayless called off the fight. This is the third exhibition bout that resulted in no scorecard for Money Mayweather. The 46-year-old star dominated the match from the start but unfortunately, the match ended up in a brawl.
