The training session video received a positive response from the fans. Majority of the fans wished India best of luck for the finale. In the video, batters like Shubman Gill, Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ajinkya Rahane were seen.
Pacers also had their training session with Umesh Yadav, Siraj, and Shami steaming in. A fielding session was also held, with focus on slip-catching. Skipper Rohit also gave a pep talk in the team huddle.

After the training session, head coach Rahul Dravid and skipper Rohit Sharma will decide on playing XI for the WTC final against Australia. India have a few issues to sort like wicketkeeper and also playing two spinners for the finale set to be played at the Oval. The pitch here generally is a bit dry, but with the match being played at the start of English summer, the pitch might aid pacers.
Still, both Cummins and Rohit are unsure about the oval pitch. If the pitch offers bounce then India have the option to with three pacers, and if the surface offers turn or grip, then Rohit has the option to go with Ashwin and Jadeja.
