Bengaluru Torpedoes ended their two match losing streak in their previous match. They defeated Mumbai Meteors 4-1 to seal their first win of the season. The team led by Pankaj Sharma are aiming to continue the momentum. They began the tournament with a 2-3 loss against Kolkata Thunderbolts and went down in the same margin against Ahmedabad Defenders in their next game.
Chennai Blitz meanwhile had a great start to the season. They faced Kochi Blue Spikers in the first game and won the contest comfortably 3-2. However the team led by Naveen Raja Jacob couldn’t win even a single set against Mumbai Meteors as they went down. The team coached by Ruben Wolochin is eager to get their camoppaign back on track.
