Kohli has converted a part of the legendary singer’s bungalow into a restaurant. He has shown a glimpse of his new venture in a video shared on his Instagram channel along with famed chef Vikas Khanna.

The restaurant’s aesthetic aspects, such as its wooden interiors, opulent panelling, beautiful chandeliers, and well-lit interiors, created a sophisticated yet contemporary atmosphere.

Virat also explained in the same video why he chose the name One8 community for his eatery as it has a warm, welcoming feel. Kohli also admitted that the restaurant’s avocado tart is his favourite meal. Khichdi, one of the restaurant’s signature dishes, was another gift Virat gave to Vikas. Celebrity chef Vikas offered Vamika, Virat Kohli’s daughter, a small present before he left the restaurant. In his professional assessment of Virat’s eatery, Vikas said:

“Best food pilgrimages I have had in Bombay. The ingredients and the combinations were just perfect. Avocado flatbreads, one of my favourite. Maine khichdi jo yahaan khaayi hai, I am surprised, I have never had khichdi like that in my whole life. Thank you for opening up my palate to all these new flavours. This cuisine is absolutely next level. Congratulations Virat and team.”
