IND vs AUS: When MS Dhoni got angry over Hyderabadi Biryani
The Hyderabadi biryani was the topic that got MSD angry. This incident happened in 2014, at the Champions League T20 competition. Ambati Rayudu, a former teammate of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, delivered the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) a cooked biryani while they were stationed at that specific hotel. The former Indian captain was upset by the hotel management’s refusal to let outside food onto the property’s grounds.
Then, with his team following behind him, Dhoni stormed out of the hotel. With that occurrence, the then-BCCI president N Srinivasan also cancelled his hotel reservation. The cricket squad who travelled to Hyderabad after that made the decision to avoid the hotel.
