Dubai Capitals have made some late moves ahead of their inaugural season in the ILT20 2022-23. After a change in the rules, the Capitals acted quickly to add Yusuf Pathan and Robin Uthappa to their ranks. Both former India stars announced their retirement from all forms of Indian cricket earlier this year.
Thus, they could feature in global T20 leagues. Both Uthappa and Pathan were part of India’s 2007 T20 WC-winning team. They also won the IPL title together at the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014.

Pathan is the 20th player to sign up for the franchise as the GMR-group-owned franchise assembles a power-packed squad for the inaugural season. A renowned six-hitter, Pathan is also a handy bowling option as witnessed in the recently held Legends Cricket League. He also featured in the Road Safety World Series.
