Tyson Fury can breathe a sigh of relief. As per reports in Saudi Arabia, he would be subjected to a £200 million lawsuit if he chooses not to challenge Oleksandr Usyk in December. But now, it’s unlikely.
But after his most recent victory against Francis Ngannou, his opponent appears to have concluded he’s not well enough to fight, therefore that appears to be the case no more. Hence, as per GB News, Fury can avert the threat of a potential 200m lawsuit.

Fury vs Usyk postponed?
It was announced at the end of the previous month that Tyson Fury would face a £200 million lawsuit from Saudi officials if he did not face Usyk on December 23.
Only a severe injury, it was said, would force Tyson Fury to withdraw from the bout.
But interesting things have happened in the previous several days that have gone in his favour.
Usyk has come to be Tyson Fury’s saviour. The Ukrainian has acknowledged that he is content for the bout to be postponed.
Speaking earlier this week, the 35-year-old stated that a postponement was the only choice due to Fury’s ailments.
Alexander Krassyuk, Usyk’s publicist, has disclosed that the Saudis are on board, although slowly. Usyk and his promoter’s remarks seem to indicate that Tyson Fury will get his desire.
But his latest victory over Ngannou has made him less confident. In the third round of the match, Fury astonished onlookers including Cristiano Ronaldo and Conor McGregor after he was knocked down by Ngannou.
Even though he ultimately prevailed by split decision, the 35-year-old was lucky to escape the fight with his undefeated record unblemished.
The heavyweight championship bout between Fury and Usyk will be the first since Lennox Lewis’s era.
With his success in the UFC, Fury anticipated a simple night against Ngannou, who was making his boxing debut. What he didn’t anticipate, though, was that the 37-year-old would be his toughest test yet.
