Boxing Schedule December: Which events will take place?

December begins with an exciting clash between boxing sensation Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte. Garcia is making his comeback to the ring after his first defeat in the sport against Gervonta Davis. He will face the 26-1-1 Duarte in the super-lightweight division. The event will take place on December 2, at the Toyota Center in Houston. Moreover, it will not be PPV and will be live on DAZN.

If that was not enough, another former lightweight sensation Devin Haney will also fight in December. He will take on former super-lightweight champion Regis Prograis on December 9. The two have engaged in a verbal battle for months now and will finally meet to settle the beef. This could be one of the fights of the year.

The weekend after that, we will get to enjoy a Matchroom Boxing event between undefeated flyweight world champion Jesse Rodriguez and IBF flyweight champion Sunny Edwards. The two will compete in the unification bout in Glendale, Arizona. They will headline an exciting card that also features other secondary titles.

After Rodriguez vs Edwards, we will get to witness a historic event in Saudi Arabia. Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin will take place on December 23. This card will also feature Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker, Daniel Dubois vs Jarrel Miller, and many other great fights. It could be the best boxing event of the year.

And finally, the year will end with an undisputed super-bantamweight title clash. WBC and WBO champion Naoya Inoue will take on IBF and WBA champion Marlon Tapales. The two will fight on December 26 at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena.

So there you have it. These are the different events taking place in December. Practically, fans will get to witness one big fight every single weekend. Which event are you most looking forward to?
