Angelo Dawkins vs Jimmy Uso: In the main event of Friday Night SmackDown, Angelo Dawkins and Jimmy Uso competed in a one-on-one match. Angelo Dawkins start the match with heavy hits towards Jimmy Uso and controlled the math for the first half. However, Jimmy Uso dominated the match.

Later, both men continued to fight hard when Jimmy accidentally tossed the referee with a shoulder tackle. Meanwhile, both men tried to pin each other, but the referee was knocked out. Soon, the Dawkins delivered a powerbomb to Jimmy Uso and pinned him but Jimmy’s shoulder was up.

In the end, WWE Official Adam Pearce walked out to announce the guest referee for the SummerSlam match. Adam Pearce announced another than WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett as the special guest referee.

Theory vs Madcap Moss: Mr. MITB Theory faced Madcap Moss in a one-on-one match on Friday Night SmackDown. Both men confronted each other and started the match. Madcap Moss gave a rough start for Theory, but the MITB winner capitalized and mocked Moss. Later, Theory tried to showcase his agility and tried to take the advantage of the ropes when Madcap Moss caught Theory tossing him with a fallaway slam.

Later, both men competed on the sidelines when Theory smashed Madcap Moss into the steel chairs. The match continued with Theory’s domination on Madcap Moss. However, Madcap capitalizes and tosses Theory flying with a shoulder tackle followed by a spine buster.

Although Madcap tries to cover Mr. MITB for the pin but Theory counters. Once again, the match continues on the sidelines and Mr. MITB  crawls to the timekeeper’s corner, grabbing his MITB briefcase to attack Madcap Moss. The match ended up with a disqualification for Theory.

Later that match, Sami Zayn comes out to confront Mr. MITB and asks him to apologize to The Bloodline. However, he rejects and mocks Sami Zayn for being alone. In the meantime, The Usos arrive and Theory backs off where Madcap Moss slams him into the ring post.

Drew McIntyre vs Ridge Holland: Drew McIntyre was scheduled to face Sheamus in a one-on-one match. However, Sheamus replaces himself with Ridge Holland to take on the Scottish Warrior. Meanwhile, Butch rang the ring bell and McIntyre started the match with heavy blows. However, Holland delivers some attacks to stop McIntyre but he couldn’t stop the Scottish Warrior.

Eventually, the former WWE Champion mocks Sheamus with his white noise move and ends the match with a Claymore.

Lacey Evans vs Aliyah: Lacey Evans was scheduled to fight one-on-one against Aliyah after the vicious attack on Aliyah last week. However, she walked out to the ring and addressed the WWE universe. Unfortunately, she talked trash and walked away after WWE Universe rejected her apology.

The New Day Ambushes The Viking Raider: The New Day dressed as the Viking Raiders on SmackDown to mock the Viking Raiders. However, The Viking Raiders came out to confront the former tag team champions. Meanwhile, The New Day poked Erik and Ivar and soon the Viking Raiders headed towards the ring.

Surprisingly, both men were ambushed by Jinder Mahal and Shanky with a surprise attack. Later, The New Day delivered a top rope move to the Viking Raiders to send them off.

Liv Morgan vs Natalya: Next the SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan and Natalya competed in a championship contender’s match. Natalya started the match with heavy blows, pushing Morgan to the corner. However, the champion capitalizes, and once again both women fight each other.

Liv Morgan delivers the drop kick followed by a jackknife cover. Unfortunately, the former champion caught Morgan on the ring apron and tossed her on the ring post smashing her head. The match continues with Natalya’s dominance in the ring. Once again, Morgan slips from Natalya’s clutches and delivers a drop kick from the top rope.

Liv Morgan gets fired up and attacks Natalya. However, the former champion delivers a german suplex and went for the cover. Later, Natalya delivers a powerbomb followed by an ankle lock maneuver from Ronda Rousey. Although Natalya tries her best to defeat the SmackDown Women’s Champion, she failed to win the match. In the end, Liv Morgan delivers oblivion to win the match.

Pat McAfee Kicks Off WWE SmackDown: Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with the NFL Punter and SmackDown commentator Pat McAfee. The SmackDown commentator recalled Corbin’s attack at MITB which gave him a brace on his neck. However, he returned to SmackDown and talked trashed about Happy Corbin and promised the WWE Universe to beat Corbin miserably at SummerSlam.
