There were multiple reports that the Rock was being considered to appear in the Royal Rumble match and win the contest. As a result, he could earn a title shot at the grandest stage of them all against Roman Reigns. But there have also been doubts over the Rock’s appearance as he has an extremely busy schedule due to his commitments in Hollywood.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Smack Talk on WrestleBinge, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell explained that the Rock is a “can’t-miss.” He also provided his reasons to justify his statement.
“I think it’ll be a great idea. The thing about wrestling is, if you f it up, guess what? You got 51 more weeks to fix it. There’s no such thing as effin it up until it’s right in top of you. They’ll still gain goodwill from doing that. I think The Rock is a can’t-miss. I mean we are talking about the biggest movie star in the world, one of the biggest stars WWE has ever had. It is no secret that the Rock is very kind as a person and has been often spotted gifting people things. In a recent incident, the Rock provided support to one of his fan’s family.
Jerry Smith, a film composer took to Twitter to highlight the hard times his family is going through. He wrote about his daily struggles with insufficient funds which terribly impacted his wife and child’s care. Surprisingly, the People’s Champ was quick to take note of it provided its support to Smith and his family.
