SRH Playing XI vs DC: Why Washington Sundar is rested?
- Washington Sundar aggravated his split webbing injury and had to sit out for the first innings.
- Sundar did not bowl an over against CSK.

As for other positions, SRH have their combination working well. In the batting department, barring Kane Williamson himself, Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram, Rahul Tripathi and Nicholas Pooran, all have been in good form.
In the bowling department, SRH pacers had a rare off-day against Chennai Super Kings. But before that, they were in good form, attacking in tandem. Amongst spinners, Aiden Markram has done a decent job while Suchith has done well in Sundar’s absence.
But with the match is set to be played at the Brabourne Stadium, a graveyard for spinners, Kane Williamson has opted for Shreyas Gopal, who is an experienced campaigner and could be a good bet.
