Top batter Tamim Iqbal will return for the upcoming final Test against South Africa, confirmed Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque. He had last played against Sri Lanka in April 2021. He was ruled out of Durban Test due to a sad stomach. The visitors were bowled out of 53 in 19 overs during the fourth innings run chase.
“Tamim bhai’s condition is much better now and we are hopeful he will play the next game,” Mominul said.
Bangladesh are yet to decide whether to play a seamer or spinner in place of Taskin Ahmed who is ruled out of injury.
