Klaasen showcased his immense skills especially against spin as he scored his fifty in just 24 deliveries. Partnering with captain Aiden Markram, Klaasen stitched a crucial 76-run partnership that steadied the innings. Although Markram departed after scoring 18 runs off 20 balls, Klaasen single-handedly carried the batting effort.
Klaasen’s maiden IPL century included 8 fours and 6 sixes as SRH posted a competitive 186 runs on board. His exceptional innings of 104 off 51 came to an end when he was dismissed by Harshal Patel.
