Karunaratne will look to play a vital role for the Falcons in the upcoming qualifier match against the Jaffna Kings.
2. Kusal Mendis
Kusal Mendis is the third-leading run-scorer in the ongoing LPL 2022. Leading Galle Gladiators, Mendis has stroked 252 runs in just eight games. He is playing at an average of 31.50. The right-handed batter will look to have a good outing in the playoffs which might help him to earn a spot in the upcoming IPL 2023. Pathum Nissanka is one of the promising Sri Lanka batters going around. The right-handed batter is currently representing Kandy Falcons in the ongoing LPL. The opening batter takes a little time to get settled down. However, once set, he can be as deadly as any other prominent batters going around. Despite Sri Lanka having a poor outing in the last concluded T20 WC, Nissanka was one of the top performers for the Island nation.
5. Fabian Allen
Fabian Allen is a strange case as he has all the talent and ability. Still, he has not been able to cement his place, both for West Indies or in IPL.
