The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League is about to start in less than 15 days. The IPL teams are currently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) preparing ahead for the season inside a bio-bubble with strict protocols for social distancing and other precautionary measures.

During their 15 days stay in UAE a lot has happened and a lot has changed. From Suresh Raina’s exit to Virat and Anushka’s pregnancy news, Covid-19 positives in CSK to uncertainty on the participation of some of the players. But whatever has happened, all that has spiced up the IPL 2020 further.

1) Chennai Super Kings bowler Deepak Chahar  tested Positive
On 28th Aug the news went viral about the Chennai Super Kings bowler Deepak Charah and some staff members of the franchise tested positive for COVID-19
2) MS Dhoni Shows Glimpse of Selfless Nature
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper gave another glimpse of his selfless nature and showed just why he is one of the most loved cricketers going around globally. The 39-year-old gave up his own business-class seat to CSK team director K George John and sat in the economy class while the team was travelling to UAE for IPL 2020.
 
3) Suresh Raina to miss IPL 2020
Suresh Raina who travelled with the squad to Dubai after a six-day training in UAE middle-order batsman returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season.
 
4) Harbhajan Singh pulls out of IPL 2020
 Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has pulled out of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 due to personal reasons. Harbhajan Singh has conveyed his decision to the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Friday
 
5)Lasith Malinga pulls out of the Season

One of the ace player Lasith Malinga has pulled out of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season due to personal reason. Malinga wants to be with his family as his father is not well. Mumbai Indians’ official website confirmed the news of Lasith Malinga’s unavailability for the whole season.

6) Virat and Anushka pregnancy news

RCB’s captain Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma announced the news of her pregnancy in an Instagram post in which she is seen flaunting her baby bump as she stands next to Virat. “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021,” she wrote.
 
7)N Srinivasan reaction on Suresh Raina’s Exists 

After Suresh Raina pulls out of the IPL 2020 and flew back to India citing personal reasons. Reacting to Raina’s call, CSK owner and former BCCI President N Srinivasan said that the southpaw will regret his decision and would want to come back.“The season has not begun yet and Raina will certainly realise what he is missing and certainly all the money he is going to lose,”

Srinivasan said if someone was unhappy, then he won’t force anyone to stay back

“My thinking is that if you are reluctant or not happy, go back. I don’t force anyone to do anything… sometimes success gets into your head,” he further said

8) Kane Richardson Pulls out of IPL 2020

Kane Richardson has pulled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) and Royal Challengers Bangalore squad as he is expecting his first child and wants to be their at the birth. RCB confirmed the news on Twitter

9)Virat Kohli Exclusive Charter Aircraft 

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli booked a separate charter for himself to travel to Dubai. The Reason behind it is he had quarantined himself in Mumbai and also tested himself for Covid-19. So he could not come to Bangalore so he flew alone by a charter flight from Mumbai

10) IPL Schedule yet to be announced
The much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is set to start from September 19 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) but to everyone’s surprise the schedule of the tournament hasn’t been released yet. BCCI was set to release the fixture earlier but with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) camp getting stuck by COVID-19 after 13 members of their contingent tested positive for the virus, the schedule wasn’t released.

Chennai Super Kings fast bowler and 12 members of their support staff have tested for the novel coronavirus in Dubai, weeks ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Apart from the player, the 12 who have been infected were part of the support staff and social media team

A senior member of the BCCI medical team has tested positive yesterday. The News comes after 13people tested positive for COVID-19 just a few days after reaching the UAE.


15)Chris Gayle tested negative after attending Usain Bolt Birthday partyUsain Bolt tested positive after celebrating his birthday with a massive party. The party was attended by people like Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey, Manchester City and England star Raheem Sterling , Kings Punjab hero Chris Gayle. Gayle returned two Covid-19 negative tests before flying off to Dubai.
