- Shikhar Dhawan will lead the squad in Rohit Sharma’s absence.
- KL Rahul won’t be available for the ODI series starting July 22.
- Two other captains, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah have also been rested while Bhuvneshwar Kumar continues to be a miss in the ODI squad.
- Shubman Gill has been recalled to the ODI squad.
- Ravindra Jadeja has been appointed as vice-captain.
